I never write reviews, but had to for this. It's hard to get cats to drink enough water and mine don't like wet food so it's something I worry about. Kidney disease is common in cats that eat only dry food. This fountain really appeals to my cats! I can see they are drinking more than they used to. I put it near their food, and because the motion sensor goes on when they approach it to eat, seeing/hearing the water makes them take a drink. I charged it when I bought it a month ago, and I haven't had to charge it since, which is amazing. It's also extremely quiet. You have to be really close to it in order to hear it. All in all, a fantastic product. I never leave reviews, but I had to for this.
