I picked this up because I thought it would be good for a pullout keyboard/mouse drawer because it has the right dimensions.This is not like any traditional mouse pad. It seems like some kind of cloth/felt material (polyester). It came packaged in a simple plastic bag which was folded over. This caused various creases which you can see in the pictures which are permanently there due to being folded.There is no rubber coating on either side, despite what is advertised. It is the same felt like material. One side seems slightly rougher than the other. The edges seem heat cut and are fairly sharp. They are not sewn. If your resting your wrist on the edge it is uncomfortable due to the sharpness. Because there is no rubber, this slides very easily on any desk surface.I am torn between giving it 2 or 3 stars. It does fit in our pullout keyboard tray/shelf on our computer desks.With a keyboard, small mouse pad, and mouse on it, it looks better than the beat up drawer. However, to me it is not a real mouse pad, just a cut piece of polyester felt in the shape of a mouse pad. It easily moves, and the edge is uncomfortable for your wrist.If you need a felt pad for some project, fine. This would be ok. If your looking for a real mouse pad, this is not it. Look elsewhere. I'm giving it about a 2 just because I am sure it will be of some use to someone, just not a PC user or PC gamer.
