This flash is a versatile and powerful tool for photographers who need reliable lighting in various situations. The main points to note are compatibility with my Canon's TTL metering, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and high-speed sync.It feels well made and fits quickly and easily to the camera, and can be mounted on a tripod if you wish. The control buttons are well-placed, and the LCD screen is clear and easy to read, making adjustments quick and straightforward.I found it to perform very well. The TTL functionality with my EOS 200D was accurate and consistent, coping well with many different environments and subjects. The power on and recycle time is impressively quick, thanks to its lithium-ion battery, which offers faster recycle times and a significantly higher number of flashes per charge compared to flash units with normal AA batteries. There would also be cost savings on the batteries for higher users.The flash supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000s, greatly increasing the flexibility and possibilities. The zoom range, remote option and rotation and tilt also add to this flexibility. If you have other Godox products then this will sync wirelessly, but I was not able to test this feature.The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 650 full-power flashes on a single charge. At lower output then this will go seemingly almost for ever. I have tried this at a wedding and took over 300 shots and it was still showing fully charged.There is a bit of a learning curve as the many functions and features do take some getting on top of, and the rechargeable battery might not be for everyone - sometimes having the ability to buy a new set of AAs can be a god send.So to summarise I think that this is an excellent flash and worth the investment (although it is significantly cheaper than a manufacturer's equivalent.) It is powerful, easy to use via the TTL but also very flexible in manual mode, comes with a full range of accessories, has a very fast recycle time and high speed shutter feature.
